This certification is mandatory for products relating to essential services that must be installed on board RINA classified vessels and is carried out in accordance with the Regulations for testing, certification and acceptance of marine equipment and materials.

cuLUs – cRUus – RU – UL

cuLUs- cRUus-RU-UL- are Underwriter’s Laboratories markings intended for the US and Canadian markets. These brands presence indicates that UL tested representative samples of a product and they comply with standards for their potential fire, electrical shock, and mechanical hazards. UL marking on a product testifies to the manufacturer’s continued compliance with standards.

The UL Listed Certification marking means that UL verified that a representative sample met UL safety requirements and that the manufacturer products continue to comply with them. These requirements are based on safety standards published by UL itself.

The UL Recognized Component marking is used for components that are part of a larger product or system.

CE

CE is a mark that the product has been assessed by the manufacturer and comply with EU requirements for safety, health and environmental protection. It is required for products manufactured anywhere in the world and marketed within the EU.

ATEX

ATEX – products sold in the EU market must be branded with the distinctive community Ex and CE mark in accordance with standard directives. Hazardous areas and explosion-proof equipment intended for installation in the European Union must comply with the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU. Our fittings and cable glands can be used in hazardous areas I-II according to the degree of classification of explosive gases and dusts. Teaflex conduits, braids and metal pipes within the Atex Exclusion Declaration can be installed in all potentially explosive zones (Zones: 0, 1, 2, 20, 21, 22).

IMQ

Product certification is the attestation that an item, before being placed on the market, has been subjected by IMQ accredited Institute to all necessary checks and tests to ascertain compliance with requirements established by European and/or international directives.
